Sacred Geometry; the achitecture of the universe

fibonacci sequenceAll things have a beginning. The beginning of us, our planet, galaxy, and beyond, all stem from something called Sacred Geometry. This is the architecture of the Universe.

For example, the Golden Mean Spiral is seen in all of nature. It’s called the Phi ratio which is 1.6188339. This ratio is seen in the spiral of a nautilus shell, seeds in a sun flower head, branches on trees, the bracts of a pinecone, and yes, even in you. It is what determines the length of your arms and legs, the distance from your chin to bottom lip and distance from the bottom of your nose to your top lip. It is the geometry of a DNA molecule. It is Divine proportion and this is what gives our body symmetry. We are constructed in Divine Proportion. It is also seen in sacred architecture in Stone Henge, in the placement of the great pyramids in Giza, Angkor Watt in Cambodia, and the Parthenon to name a few. The  Phi ratio is logarithmic, also called the Fibonacci sequence which is 1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144… It starts with one and each new term is the sum of the last two numbers. 1+1=2, 1+2=3, 2+3=5, 3+5=8 and so on. This is the Phi Ratio.

There are many other designs within Sacred Geometry. Each one holds a powerful Divine expression of energy, and life force. Each one holds a different set of energies and experiences such as Metatron’s Cube, the Flower of Life, Star tetrahedron… Many, in fact most, ancient sacred sites were designed with multiple forms of Sacred Geometry.

 DaVinci was fascinated with Divine Proportion and mathematics in art and nature. You can find Sacred Geometry in the art of many masters such as DaVinci, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, and even in the music of Mozart. Divine Proportion can be found in some of his most famous sonatas.
