Locate potentially dangerous cell phone towers near your home, work, and school
Did you know there is a growing body of evidence that suggests that people who live within a ¼ mile of cell or broadcast towers are more likely to experience health concerns ranging from fatigue to Leukemia? It's likely these towers are surrounding you without you knowing it.
I'm happy to share a website that lists how many antennas and towers are located within a 4 mile radius of you: www.antennasearch.com. Simply enter your address and click on maps of your area. I discovered that I live near 452 antennas and 0.16 miles from a cell phone tower with multiple antennas. Good thing my home and grounds are protected.
Cell and broadcast towers are large structures typically over 200 feet tall. One tower can house many antennas owned by different communications companies.
Antennas are the actual signal emitters that are placed on towers or stand alone on the top of office buildings, condos, churches, and light poles. Antennas are roughly 18 inches high and 7 inches across. Standalone antennas are small and difficult to spot.
Towers are housings for cellular, paging, and other radio service antennas. They are like antenna strip malls. Often they’re hidden, made to look like trees or even concealed inside church steeples. Before a tower is built, applications must be filed with various government entities. The antenna.com site also detects FUTURE towers by scanning application submissions and finding all newly filed (or pending) tower applications in your area.
For your protection, I urge you to learn whether you spend significant time near a cell or broadcast tower, and to learn where new ones may be raised near you.
